In partnership with our friends at Desert Dash, we co-directed the 2nd Malibu Day & Moonlight Madness Trail Run on March 10th. For 2012, we moved the venue to Pt. Mugu State park around the stunning Sycamore canyon area to accommodate for our growing number of participants. The runners confirmed that our new area and course was a good idea as the event received rave reviews.

One defining characteristic of our events is that we run both the 10k and 1/2 marathon races in the morning and at night. We thought most would chose to race during the day but we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had an even split between the number of day and night runners. We''re glad to see that our night runs, powered by Light and Motion, are becoming more popular. We certainly love them.

We've included a few photos below to give you a taste of the beauty of the area and the course but for more photos and course description, visit the March 10th website.

The event was such a success that we've decided to put on a Fall event on November 17th. See the details on the Desert Dash site.

The Malibu Day and Moonlight Madness Trail Runs are here to stay.

Hope you can join us!
